Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

Sushi Yama Asian Bistro is committed to making sushiyamaonline.com usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation. We have worked to conform this site to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the widely accepted standard for web accessibility.

What We’ve Done

Every page of sushiyamaonline.com — Home, About, Menu, Gallery, and Contact — has been:

  • Scanned against 94 automated WCAG success criteria, with zero outstanding violations.
  • Manually tested by keyboard: every link, button, menu, and form field can be reached and operated using Tab, Enter, and Space alone, with a visible focus indicator at each stop.
  • Reviewed for correct heading structure, meaningful link and image descriptions, sufficient color contrast, and correct use of ARIA roles and states on interactive components like our menu and location accordions.

This is ongoing work, not a one-time fix. We re-test after changes to the site and welcome reports of anything we’ve missed.

Online Ordering

Our “Online Order” links open a separate ordering website in a new browser tab, which is not part of sushiyamaonline.com and is outside the scope of this statement. If you have any trouble placing an order there, please call your preferred location instead — phone numbers are on our Contact page.

Feedback

If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere on sushiyamaonline.com, please let us know using our Contact form, and we’ll work to address it as quickly as possible.
